Warranty Periods

  • NeXus Systems (Encoders): 2 years
  • NeXus EEG Caps: 2 years
  • NeXus Sensors: 2 years

Repair Services

  1. Encoders / Systems:

    • Repairs are available up to 7 years from the original purchase date.
    • From 7 to 10 years, repairs are subject to consultation with Mind Media.
    • No repairs are available after 10 years.
  2. NeXus EEG Caps:

    • Repairs are available up to 5 years from the original purchase date.
    • No repairs are available after 5 years. 
  3. NeXus Sensors:

    • No repairs are available after 2 years.
    • A trade-in option will be offered up to 3 years from the original purchase date.

Client Responsibilities and Costs

  • Service and Handling Fee: If a faulty item is out of warranty, the Client agrees to cover a service and handling fee.
  • Research and Repair Costs: The Client agrees to cover research and repair costs up to the maximum amount communicated by Mind Media. If research and repair costs exceed the defined amount, Mind Media will provide a price quote and proceed only with the Client’s consent.
  • Shipping Costs: The Client bears the costs for shipping outside the warranty period. 

Return Procedures

  • Mind Media reserves the right to refuse items not returned in accordance with the applicable return procedure. Clients must contact Mind Media support before returning any item.
  • For items returned under warranty, Mind Media will ensure replacement of the product within five (5) working days, provided the item is returned according to the applicable return procedure.  

General Terms

  • The eligibility for repair of a faulty item is solely determined by Mind Media. Mind Media may replace the item if repair is not possible.
  • Repaired or replaced items will be returned to the purchasing company’s address unless otherwise agreed.
  • Items not eligible for repair or replacement will be returned to the Client only upon request and at the Client’s expense, unless the Client opts for a trade-in for a new product.
  • Mind Media may replace a faulty item with a fully functional revised copy of equal or better quality without charging more than the maximum defined or with the Client agreed repair costs.
